Vimal V. Jhaveri, M.D. is a Colorado native. He went to Boston University for undergraduate studies and then spent two years teaching high school science in New Orleans, LA. He came back to Colorado for medical school (the University of Colorado) and then left again for Boston for residency and fellowship before coming back home in 2020. He spent almost 4 years at another local practice before joining WIDC in 2024. His interests include all facets of Infectious Disease, especially immunocompromised hosts and HIV care, as well as medical education. In his free time, he is usually overruled by his lovely wife and two young daughters, but sometimes is able to get out for trail runs, mountain bike rides, skiing, and cheering on the local Denver sports teams.
