Sonali Hemachandra, M.D. was born and raised in Michigan. After spending many years on the East Coast, and more recently in the Midwest, she has made her way West to Denver. She joined W.I.D.C. in the summer of 2013. Dr. Hemachandra enjoys all aspects of caring for patients with infectious diseases, but has a special interest in HIV, travel medicine, wound care, and infections in immunocompromised patients. When not at work, she enjoys traveling, cooking, and playing tennis.
