Dr. Cushman is originally from Rochester, NY but grew up in Dallas, TX. She moved to Colorado in 2015 for her Infectious Diseases fellowship and joined WIDC 2019. She is particularly interested in C. difficile infection but enjoys all aspects of Infectious Diseases. She is a classically trained percussionist and enjoys playing in her spare time. She also enjoys cooking, hiking, camping, kayaking, and spending time with her dog, Izze.
