WIDC has an infusion center located at each of its offices. This unique feature allows our staff to provide convenient outpatient intravenous antibiotics in a comfortable and professional environment. During the course of treatment, our infusion patients remain under the direct supervision of our nursing staff, all of whom are highly trained in PICC placement and wound care.
The nurses and the prescribing physicians work closely together to coordinate patient care and maintain communication throughout the duration of therapy. We also provide a designated on-call nurse and physician twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week should problems or concerns arise.
Both centers are open Monday through Friday and our Wheat Ridge office provides continued service on weekends by appointment only.
